AFFORDABLE MEALS PROJECT
FOC received a government grant valued at fourty thousand dollars via the The Affordable Meals Project, with some of the funds we purchased the vehicle, built the new food van and founded several hundred meals for low social economic community members. Every cent we raise goes back to the community. Always.
Thank you to Fran Logan, Phil Eva and The Caravan Shed, without your generosity this project would never have got off the ground. With appreciation from the Members and Volunteers of Friends of the Community Inc.

VOLUNTEER STORY – CISCIDDA FAMILY
These two young ones started volunteering for FOC with their father when they were eight years old. They never missed an Anzac Gunbarrel Breakfast and Australia Day Concert. Anthony and Samuel Ciscidda are two children of a set of triplets, their sister Sofia did some volunteering and their older sister also volunteered. Papa Ciscidda still volunteers with FOC the boys have engaged in employment, so we only see them now and then.

VOLUNTEERS THANK NORM AND SERENA AND THE FOC TEAM
Norm Dale and Serena Anderson were blown away by the beautiful gift the volunteers presented them on Saturday. The plaques simply reads “Thank You For Your Inspiration”, and what an inspiration they are indeed!
I met Norm and Serena at the end of 2020 and I must say I was blown away by the FOC. Such a simple idea, that benefits so many people.
What we do is about giving back. We see so many people in need in the community, and we have the time and energy to do something about it.
I hope that we can help as many people as possible. We do whatever we can, to help those around us in our community.
